Early Drop-Off
Parents have the flexibility to drop off as early as 6:00am Monday through Thursday to get a work out in, get some alone time, or just to get a bit of a breather to help with the morning rush.
Breakfast &
Snacks
Mornings can be chaotic, packing lunch is already time-consuming, and children are almost always hungry after school. This care program provides a light breakfast and plenty of wholesome after school snacks.
Late Pick-Up
Maybe you need a bit of extra time to make dinner, grab some groceries, or deal with something unexpected. Pickup as late as 6:30pm knowing you don’t have to stress about rushing because you have a grace period.

Screen Free
Children benefit from lots of screen-free time. Electronics are left in a bin at the front door upon arrival and picked up on the way out. Children may check or leave their mobile device volume on loud in order to hear phone calls from parents.
Art Classes
We won’t just be making crafts, we’re going to make real art projects during our time together. Children will have instructional art classes in the DVS professional art studio. We will sketch, draw from life, make 3D objects, paint and do so much more.
Nature
Located on Fish Creek Provincial Park and the Bow River, children have direct access to nature. After school activities may include trail hikes, river walks, sledding, snowshoeing, and birding. It’s common for children in care to see birds of prey, coyotes, deer, pheasants, racoons & even snakes.
Chat Group
Accept an invitation to join the DVS 2024/2025 WhatsApp chat group for updates and photos of activities and events. It's a great way for parents to get to keep in touch throughout the week and keep tabs on what's happening at DVS.
